mosely may be better no doubt

but hes not more proven RECENTLY

since his 2 losses to winky at 154, he came back to 147 and has hasnt beaten anyone relaly of note apart from collazo.

he could have lost his past fight if clottey stayed healthy, also he may very well get ran over by williams

Margarito is a beast and is the most proven, Clottey gave him hell but he is no walk in the park. I would love to see Clottey or Margarito fight Cotto, as for the "Punisher" he is going to have a long night. Margarito has been in some wars and knows how to fight through them, we will have to see how Paul Williams reacts when he touches a guy and he doesn't fall down. This should be a great fight.

that excuse can be made with any fighters,

'floyd could have lost to judah if judah stayed active.....'

so what was wrong with clottey??

are you talking about his bruised knuckle that he suffered that night??

yes i said bruised knuckle and i'm not even exaggerating, look up clottey-corrales pre fight conference, clottey himself says he bruised his knuckle.

and wasn't margarito also injured before the fight???

and doesn't margarito always start off slow?

Margarito IS a top welter no doubt, but not the most proven, that distinction belongs to Mosley, other than Mayweather of course.
Clotteys excuse about the injured knuckle is getting old.During a tough fight, theres all kinds of pain and injuries.Margo was hurt too.Clotteys a tough hombre, but he's showing some estrogen with that song and dance.

Mayweather - Delahoya, Judah, Baldomir, Gatti
    Mosley - Delahoya, Collazo
    Cotto - Judah, Ukral, Quitanna
MArgarito - Lujan, Lewis, Diaz, Clottey, Cintron

it is blatently mosley. this isnt even debatable. he dominated two prospects (on paper). then he dominated a former champ who had arguably beaten a top 10 P4P. this is minus he previous work i.e. win over dlh, two fights with forrest, contenders etc

this is no contest. mosley has done enough recent work to show he is no fluke comign back at 147.

By DQ, a fight in which Clottey was winning 8 of 10 rounds already.

Lets keep that in mind while we are clearing the air here.

Margarito also lost his fight at 154 to Santos , who IMO is one of the weaker champions at the time at 154
