I disagree. I think he takes a pretty decent punch.

He's mentally fragile though. I feel that's more suspect than his chin.

Cotto came up from 140. AM fought at 154 and wasn't stopped.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to reason that what AM says was true. He has fought bigger punchers. Cotto is a powerful hitter at 147 but he doesn't have one-punch KO power. He can dish out a beat-down, but not against AM.

I concur. Cotto repeatedly landed clean shots with good force that would have floored most others in the division. Margarito just continued to prove his ability to take solid punches as he has recently against Cintron and as he did way back against Antonio Diaz.

Most others? I can't agree with that. Cotto is a punishing accumulation hitter, but not a body dropper like that.

Margarito said "fighters who hit MUCH harder." That's saying something. MUCH harder. ALOT harder.

Sort of like Cott couldn't? After all they both only lost to Tony.

I've seen Cintron stunned a couple time, but I've seen Cotto more hurt than Cintron in any fight.

Cotto's record sports 26ko's out of his 32 wins. Most of which came in the light welter division but if you look at some of his opponents at welter such as Quintana and Gomez who both have never been stopped before facing Cotto, there is clear evidence of his punching power. I stand by my statements.

Stopping opponents on a collection of dozens and hundreds of well placed body shots in a single fight due to someone quitting on their stool or taking a knee isn't evidence of power, that's evidence of good strategy and dedication. 26 KO's, but how many of these are legitimate KO's? How many are even legitimate TKO's?

Stick to your statement. The details aren't lost on the majority. They certainly aren't lost on those who are well informed and familiar with this subject matter.

Juan Diaz stopped Billy Irwin and Randy Suico, both who had never been stopped before. Does that mean Juan Diaz' punching power is top notch?

Well, Margarito couldn't have been referring to that. He never saw it.
