Always said, margarito is not the kind that can reign supreme and take on guys with all kinds of different styles. Fought a guy with more stamina that could land good power shots and not gas out and lost. Predictable. I mean good win for mosley, who is one of my favorite fighters, but I don't think it's that impressive because of how bad margo's defense is.

Margarito was exposed, this was a clinic from the first round to the last.

Margo wasn't "exposed". Everyone knew what to do to beat Margo. Its just not every man that can do it. You MUST be both strong and durable (see Paul Williams and Shane). Margo is still a beast.

This wasn't an exposure, we knew Margarito's limitations already. Mosley was just able to exploit them.

I actually rate his chin higher.

The fact that he took all those bombs for that time - must other welters would have been dead after five rounds.

Margo took some punishment, Mosley was throwing bomb's all night and most were connecting. His defense was good as well as his head movement and he took very little in return, a great exhibition of a boxer/puncher at work.

Unbelievable performance from Shane at 37, i am in shock.
Perfect strategy, perfect fight and perfect mexecution.:happy

The best thing Margarito had going for him in his career was his toughness & iron chin, that made up for his lack of skills & mainly defence... now, he would be aswell retiring.

Im not gonna slag the guy off because I predicted a UD for him, in fact the only scenarior that I didnt think was possible was a KO win for Mosely... so well done Shane, I thought you were all done (& you still might be) but you gave us one last great performance.

Mosely on this form was the reason I picked Mosely over Cotto last time & his performances vs cotto & Mayorga were the main reasons I picked Margarito over Shane this time.

    Boxing is ****in weird.

Ps. Imagine if Floyd did come back to fight Margarito ?
Doesnt bear thinking how much of a letdown that would have been after all the hype.

I disagree. The best thing Margarito had going for him was Bob Arum.
