MARGARITO KOs COTTO - pictures

I wanted to see Floyd fight both of these guys, it's a shame that he has wasted so much time not fighting at all.

 

A convincing win by Cotto here, will almost certainly lead to a match up with Floyd, there will be enormous money in that fight.

 

Nobody is fooled by Gomez, but I am convinced by Cotto's entire record, skill-set that he can beat Margarito. Probably a FOTY but Cotto wins convincingly.

Cotto by decision. Margarito is a bit more durable but Cotto's really becoming a complete fighter, just all around better skills and movement.

i picked Cotto on points since Margo seems to have a solid chin, but I'm wondering how much punishment he can take before going down.

Honestly I didn't want to see this fight last year, but know I really want to see this fight more than any fight that is going to happen this year. Great matchup, but I ll take Cotto on points.

 

This is gonna' be a really good fight.. I thought they were trying to set up a Cotto/Mayorga fight for July, but this is way better.. Margo will be aggresive, but when he comes in, Cotto will jab him and then when Margo starts wailing, Cotto will catch him with a left.. I'll say either Cotto by UD or late stoppage..

I might have to attend this fight as I haven't been to a fight since last year's Cotto v Judah. Ultuimately, as was mentioned in last night's telecast, the winner is the fans.
