it will be one of his hardest fights but i see him overpowering marg in the 10th or so round

 

so y wont they fight for cottos belt and margos?

is it cause margo has a mandatory already or what?

 

I don't see how any one can see this going the distance. I may not be good at picking who will win, but in this fight someone is getting KTFO!

 

There is no way for Cotto to KO Margarito. There is a chance that Margarito will stop Cotto. It is damn intriguing.

 

Anybody can be hurt. Marg may have one of the best chins around today, but lets remember what Cotto did late rounds against Mosely defensively..

Considering this, even IF Margo is able to trade with Cotto on the inside and be the more durable guy, Cotto still has boxing to fall back on. Cotto isn't some one dimensional guy who cant think. He's far more dangerous than people are giving him credit for.

Cotto is the type of fighter that can sit on punches and bust somebody's face up with cuts.. He mixes his body to head punches as well as anyone around. Fight could easily be stopped on cuts.

 

Yeah, why does Margo have to vacate? The winner of this fights Mayweather and we basically have an Undisputed World Welterweight Champion!?

This could be a chance for one man to strap all the ABC's around his waist once and for all.

I think Arum was trying to set this up all along. Cotto and Margo were both matched perfectly last night with opponents they would both KO. His plan worked, both looked spectaclular and now people will naturally want to see them fight each other.

I think it is a good matchup and expect a Cotto UD.

 

It will be a great fight, and Margo does have a great chin. However, I remember that Santos rocked him badly.

I swear Fitz developed every game plan in the book to beat Cotto, he swore up and down that he smelled upset. Yet he whispered "But Cotto should win" dude sure knows how to cover his ass. The only problem is he sounds like a confused bipolared transexual when stating his opinion.

 

Clottey is the mando for this belt. The IBF would not allow Kermit to make another voluntary defense and it is unlikely they will allow Tony to.

This also allows Clottey a chance at a televised fight for a belt, and will set him up as an opponent for either the winner or possibly even the loser of the Cotto-Tony fight.

Clotty's last victory over Shamone was suppossed to be an elimination bout so this puts him next in line for the belt. I can see Arum putting Clotty aside and giving the go to Cotto vs Margo but where would this leave Clotty. I'm sure we will either see Clotty appeal the bout or be givin a good amount of step-aside money.
