Margarito made the BBC's p4p list at #9. Anyof you guys rate him this high?

The BBC rankings are a joke generally. This list isn't all that bad, but I don't see how anyone could have Israel Vasquez as low as 7!

    That's ridiculous.

I can't rate Margarito above Williams at his weight, due to the direct form between them and the fact that neither have done anything since to suggest that to not be accurate (Williams lost to Quintana but corrected that spectacularly, Margarito beat up Cintron, we already saw him do that years ago so thats not a step up).

Williams doesn't get near my top ten P4P.

A win over Cintron does nothing to suggest he is deserving of a top 10 p4p place. If he beats Cotto he would be worthy, but that's not happening :deal.

Nah, but if he beats Cotto I'd put him right up there. Margo is world class right now as far as I'm concerned. If he takes out a guy like Cotto then that would automatically jump him up to elite status IMO.

No. It is STUPID to have him in a P4P Top10 list.

    His resume is extremely poor.

I think the BBC only seem to watch boxing once or twice a year.

Given that Cintron was getting a fair bit of praise on the BBC boards at that time, for Margarito to give him a real beating (which he did) must have earned Tony a great deal of kudos.

It is the same with the British rankings as well - as soon as Maccarinelli beat Bobby Gunn he was up to No.3, and remained there despite the fact that Junior Witter KO'd Vivian Harris, Clinton Woods had a good win against Gonzalez and Haye crossing the Channel to KO Mormeck.

    Odd.

there top 6 is spot on in my opinion. (WITH Mayweather out of course) but I have Margorito around 19 on my list TBH.
