So what you are saying is that in all your years of watching boxing, you haven't seen a boxer with the aforementioned traits beat someone with a higher skill level?

Mayweather offered Margo the Jab Judah date after Zab was defeated by Baldomir but Margo turned it down stating it was 2 short noitce.

But nobody likes to talk about that one.

We are talking about Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Margarito.....

Floyd's skill level is not just higher than margarito.....its on another atmosphere

Also you may not like Floyd you may call him a cherry picker a ducker or whatever else...FACT is in taht ring he one of the best to EVER do it....those traits you love so much about Margarito will do him no justice.

Well, we may not see eye to eye, but at least you can hold a discussion without resorting to elementary and lame comebacks. Your name has been noted as someone who can hold an intelligent conversation. Respect. :deal :thumbsup

:lol:Funny that Mayweather's two biggest wins he did'nt even have to climb a ring himself for.
Mosley's demolition of Margarito and JMM's brutal KO of Manny Pacquiao!

Thought Mayweather didi'nt have the balls to climb the ring and prove it himself, *****'s equate those victories of Mosley and Marquez as victories for Mayweather!:nut

    Gif of Mayweather's finest hour!

I think it's quite obvious that Mayweather fans have spent a lot of time discussing fantasy Margarito and Pacquiao matches, using fights in their career to hypothesize how those fights would have gone. Nobody will question that.

Those two cases you bring up are nothing more than using happenings in their careers as "evidence" as to why how they feel is more likely than how someone else they're debating with feels.

Sort of like how one could say Ezzard Charles would have beaten a pre-retired Joe Louis, since Walcott beat him by almost every account in a robbery and KD'd him a couple times in Louis/Walcott I, and Ezzard soon after beat Walcott twice. Then beat a come-backing Louis. It would be a logical thing to mention in a debate of, "who would have won, Louis vs. Charles in 1947-8."

Fighter A beating fighter B, who beat fighter C does not indicate fighter A would beat fighter C. But being that the fights never happened, one can only use their performances to educate a prediction of how it would have gone.

Thus, when Mayweather beats Mosley 11-1 and Marquez 12-0 + KD and those two go on to KO Margarito and Pacquiao respectively, of course those common opponents will be mentioned in debates on this subject matter.

It's not hard to figure out, dude. Margarito/Mosley and Pacquiao/Marquez IV happen to be two of the more popular fights on these forums. Add it all together.

    ---

But in seriousness, Mayweathers' two best victories are a two of Genaro, Corrales, Castillo, Hatton, and Cotto, in my opinion. Honorable mentions to Oscar and Mosley.

I mean, if you want to say his two best wins are fights he wasn't in, than go for it but you look really dumb.
