    Mayorga beat Forrest in a fight that probably shouldn't have been stopped. I don't think Mayorga beat Forrest in the rematch either. Who else did mayorga beat that was noteworthy?

    I don't know who was better, but Margarito had a lil bit better career than Mayorga.

    I don't like Margarito, but he beat Cotto, Cintron, and 6 Heads Lewis. To me this is like asking do you like Alligator or Pigs feet more.

    Mayorga fights like a woman.




    Schooled? Neither fight was anything close to a schooling.Williams simply outworked Margarito through the early rounds to win what was a relatively close decision and the Santos was a very close fight which got stopped on a cut.


    A schooling is what Cory Spinks gave Mayorga,when he comfortably and comprehensively outboxed Mayorga,despite being a significant underdog at the time.

    Mayorga is always being brought up as a C level fighter but Margarito was never really praised much for his skills either so that's what made this comparison interesting.

    What I'm thinking is that Mayorga probably has the single best win by beating the linear champion in Forrest, and fought against top quality opposition but Margarito was more consistent and pretty much established linearism by beating Clottey, Cintron, and Cotto.
