Thoughts on this fight? People are talking as if this will be a walk over for Pac. It's only about 18 months ago that there was a discussion about Pac - Margo and only TFFP gave Pacquiao a chance. Who wins?
Pacquiao on points. Margarito took about 500 flush bombs from Mosley, laughed at most of them and still moaned about the stoppage - his chin is unbelievable, to say it's unprotected 99% of the time. He'll give Pacquiao more problems than the world class journeyman Clottey did anyway.
Pac easily. Will just be another Mosley fight, the far faster better boxer lands punch after punch until its stopped or takes a comfortable decision.
Don't think so, Pacquiao hasn't got the physicality and won't be able to smother and clinch him...more likely he'll sustain what Cotto couldn't.
I didnt mean he'll go about it exactly like Mosley did. Just that Margarito will be similarly out of his depth against a far faster better boxer like he was in that fight. He has absolutely no chance here.
Tis another walkover for Pacquiao. What punches is Margarito going to land? Even if he does so what he's not going to score a KO off the odd punch.
Pacman with ease and I actually think he'll win by stoppage, I just can't see Margarito's punch resistance being anywhere near what it was after the punishment he took in consecutive fights against Cintron, Cotto and Mosley. Also I think that Margarito's style is perfect for Pacquiao, Manny will be far too quick in there for Margarito to land many decent punches and he will hardly be able to miss the chin of Margarito unless Margo improves his defence hugely, which I can't see happening at this stage in his career. Prediction- Pacquiao TKO 10
Margarito is a desperately slow starter, Pacquiao is normally a very fast starter. Roach will know this, by the time it hits the forth round Margarito will have shipped an ungodly amount of punishment. I see a Pacquiao stoppage by rounds 7 or 8. If there's one thing I've learned from Pac's past 3 fights, it's to never underestimate him as the smaller man!
