But In order to execute that plan, one needs to have a granite chin.. Without that, they'll fail.

Cotto needed to go to work with hes great body attack to slow down margarito(or anyone for that matter). That would slow down any fighter applying alot of pressure to him

Cotto was a 'real man' when asked about it yesterday(i think it was). He basically said,-- look knowone from my team went over to see him have hes hands wrapped, so its tough to make excuses.

No proof or not. Thers a serious, serious probability he did use them vs cotto

I think the possbility is lower than 10%

Cottos team watched it happen. On top of it Vegas has said nothing happened and on top of that, Vegas issues their own tape and gauze.

Someone also keeps saying they video tape the process in which if true is even more proof.

Bull****. Right, Margarito just layed right in front of Cotto with his arms open and did nothing. Of course Margarito won the fight, he's the one who applied the pressure, he forced his fight and didn't step off the gas from round 1 -- no one was able to Cotto what he had done that night. If it was the case of Cotto simply losing the fight for himself, then I think he would've had a couple more losses on his record.

im not sure where your getting your info because it sounds wrong. Anyway...

“I didn’t want to protest (that loss),” Cotto said. “No one from my team went to his dressing room to watch and check his hands. I felt that, if we made that kind of mistake, then we just have to deal with it and move on. “If it comes up, I would fight him again. It would be a revenge fight for me.”

Im wrong, you put knowone together and it looked like someone instead of no one.

    My bad.

That doesn't change the fact that Vegas issues there own tape and gauze.

Cotto head hunted all night and thought he would knock Margarito out and thought he didn't need to work the body.

Margarito was wide open for body shots and Cotto one of the best body attacks in the sport. There's no way Margarito stopped Cotto from going to his body.

Cotto bought into his own power and tried to look flashy throughout the fight. When he saw margarito wasn't going anywhere, he gassed, got beat up and quit.

Cotto lost the fight by not going to the body which Mosley showed is all you need to do.

If Cotto would have tried to attack the body, he would have eaten more punishment and would have gotten stopped sooner. Cotto is not Mosley, Cotto doesn't hold for strategy. You can't change a fighter's style and say "if he would have done this". If that's the case, then you can argue that for many boxers who lose; styles make fights and each boxers style is part of who they are. In the end, Margarito fought the better fight that night, so yes, Cotto lost, and Margarito won.

Yup, but we'd have to also say if his gloves weren't loaded, Cotto wouldn't gotten rocked as bad as he did which took all his stamina away after that.
