I wrote it all along while I watched you and Bazzoka bicker. Cotto is too skilled.......Cotto is the complete tactician.......cotto will knock margarito out. bazzoka in the end won this. Margarito waitied for this fight while all others ducked him..........and NOW we see why. On a side note I hate Jim Lampley..........every word out of his mouth favored Cotto. Not once did he give Margarito any respect. While in the early rounds Margarito clearly hurt Cotto not once but twice with body shots. Not once was it mentioned. I knew by the 7th round that either cotto was going to be stopped or he would quit before 12. He tried to run and counter for 11 rounds. It's over now.............and trust me..........THE BETTER MAN WON. I'm so happy this man FINALLY got his dues that I'm at a loss for words , other than " AWESOME"
I know what you mean. I definitely thought Cotto could pull it off if he could box for the duration of the fight. The thing is I knew he couldn't and would get stopped in the later rounds after outboxing Margo for most of the fight. I give Cotto all the props in the world, but I couldn't understanding the overwhelming amount of predictions in Cotto's favor. The fact the people mentioned Margarito quitting was more than laughable. I had said all along that Tony had been hit with harder punches and made his bones by walking through those shots. I could also see that Margo is a an underrated body puncher and was more disciplined in this aspect of the fight. Great fight all around though and finally worth the PPV money!
