Margarito rejected $4 Million to rematch Williams

My favorite part besides Floyd crying was Margarito clowning Roger at the end. :good

Naw, I am from Tijuana like him. He doesn't want to fight a guy from his hometown. He would look like an ******* if he did well except the way he beat Cotto.

I agree cotto is a very good fighter. I just don't see him beating Margo regardless of whether he stays of the ropes, punches more to the body, or paces himsef better. I just don't think it's happenin!

 

I am assuming he doesn't want to fight me but who knows for sure since I am ducking him. Yeah, I agree that Cotto will always have a tough time with Margarito. Hey bro, arent you tired? Aint like 4:00 am over there?

 

I guess you're right... Cotto would have to fight a "perfect" fight in order to beat Margo... But I'm not sure what type of fight that would be!
I've heard people saying Cotto should have gone more to the body... I think he wanted to do that in the first place, but I'm not sure if he actually could... Probably he would have left himself more open and eat more of those uppercuts and hooks.
And the rope-a-dope method didn't work either...
Maybe he should try to stay off the ropes, and keep delivering those combos he landed throughout the fight, but he would have to do it in the center of the ring with lateral movement. I'm not suggesting he should trade, just not get cornered all the time. To tell you the truth, I don't know if Cotto has the ability to do that. Then again, he has to improve his stamina, he even faded against Mosley after the 8th round. Can't do that against a pressure fighter like Margo.

Truth is it's 7:44am... I got up in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep. I am gonna try again shortly. Plus I get carried away with boxing sometimes

 

Good luck trying to fall asleep again. The Tijuana Punisher never has trouble sleeping. He is too tired from all that punishing to have that problem.

You know why Williams refused to give AM a rematch? lol...check this scenario out: Maybe it was because AM filed a petition asking that the WBO look at a replay of the fight and check the scoring of the fight. Maybe Williams and Goosen got pissed after Williams said he would give AM an immediate rematch, only to see AM file a petition...and suddenly had a change of heart I don't know lol...:rofl :nut
