Margarito says he will avenge JCC

    Margarito is determined to make this fight. In an article in Margarito visits Tijuana to receive an award for his fight against Cotto. He speaks to Tijuana papers and says that he wants Hoya because he wants to avenge Julio Cesar Chavez, his idol, for his two losses against Hoya. He says he will have Mexico with him when he fights Hoya and has already turned this into a Hoya vs Mexico thing in order to get Hoya to fight, which is unfortunate because this is the one thing Hoya doesn't want (him against Mexico) and if anything the one thing to stop the fight from happening.

    This fight will be HUGE. But unfortunately, the Mexicans will be on Hoya's ass like they were in the Vargas fight, maybe this will motivate him a bit.

    margarito-williams is the fight to be made right now at welterweight. i don't know what people see in a margarito-de la hoya match. if the fight gets into the later rounds, expect a massacre.

    I think so too. Even an older Oscar is the better boxer in this one. I don't think Margo will be chasing him as unscathed as he did Cotto.
