Sounds to me like a really lame excuse I don't buy that bs, I know almost everybody will agree that he have been cheating before that fight.
I am not justifying ****, I am explaining why they may have felt they needed to use the ****, the man did come in at a very high weight that was discussed on FNF's just after their fight. and if they got wind that Mosley was at Big Bear and training to actually win this fight, perhaps they resorted to a last min fix, or lack there of. Yes he is a Professional fighter and he gets paid to fight and be in shape, but so do other fighters and alot of times they come into camp way over weight, it ****ing happens.
of course everybody is going to beleive he has been doing this the entire time, that is because its always easy to beleive the bad, its easier to accept. However had he been doing this his entire career then I would have to say its time to ban Boxing as a whole becuase that is how many times the commissions failed to catch on to this?:think So if its really true he has been doing this his entire career ban the ****ing sport, becuase the commissions are failing to protect the saftey of the fighters.
I didnt say he shouldnt be banned for life why do you bring that up? and I didnt say what my thoughts were justified anything he did because it doesnt, I am saying that Margarito and his team obviously felt they needed an extra edge, so they resorted to this tactic, how hard is that for you to understand?
Not his entire carrier but maybe just a few of his last fights. Don't forget it was Mosley's trainer that caught him, if he didn't say anything they would have never caught him.
Exactly if he didnt say anything he wouldnt have got caught, which if people are going to then argue he has been doing this his entire career, I think its safe to say that the fighters today who are active are not being protected by the commissions of the states in which they fight, meaning we should probably just do away with the sport if that is the case.
No. Margarito used it for the Mosley fight, and until proven otherwise, that is the crime he will be condemned for. He should be banned for life for the Mosley fight, not any other. Speculation is not good enough for such a serious allegation.
I do understand why you all are saying his last few fights, he picked up some good wins in those fights and beat down Miguel Cotto, I understand that Cotto loss was hard to deal with, However I really beleive that Margarito won that fight fair and square, Nevada usally does a great job, Usally.
The worst thing you could do is try to understand the logic of the General Forum. Cotto was a great win, and the recent findings do not change that.
Thats just it. Naseem Richardson has a knack for catching weird stuff on gloves where commissions miss out...had he not been fighting a guy who had Naseem Richardson in their corner, he would probably have got away with it. It isnt a coincidence that he chose to use it on the 1 fight that he will be up against Richardson...no, more likely hes been using it before and the other coaches never picked up on it...until he met a guy who seems to be an expert at catching this out.
its like I said, I cant say that he did this in any of his other fights becuase I just dont have facts that support that claim, However some here will say that just to take anything the man has accomplished in the sport away from him~ Okay yes margarito deserves the punishment he is getting and Jail time wouldnt be a bad option neither, stick them both in Prison if you ask me. But to take what he has done away from him, Nah he is being punished enough as it is.
I know there's no proof or whatever but there will always be a huge question mark, it's just pure logic. I won't try to change your mind and you won't my mind or the vast majority of the people's minds, so let's just leave it there :good
So your saying he has been doing this his entire career? your going to say that the commission in Nevada didnt pick up on this? or that Cottos people didnt notice this? I dont buy it, seriously I really dont.
Exactly, becuase your talking about 30 plus fights in his career, in which your questioning, and again with out proof or evidence I wont cast any stones, just as was the case here.
