Margarito - should he be banned for life?

I voted no and I will tell you why. Because I don't trust boxing officials at all. I would trust a boxer before I trusted the sports corrupt politicians. So I would give Margarito the benefit of the doubt, see how he does in his next fights and see if this is real or politiking. We all remember the Trinidad scandal.

 

TRINIDAD'S scandal, double standard?? Let me tell u about double standards u clowns. Trinidad's wraps were not allowed as they were in the state of NY, and NEW YORK ONLY, every other single state would've been ok with it (yep, believe it or not dif. states have dif. rules, something new I guess:yep). Not only that but Trinidad's camp were arguing about that decision while in the locker room, something that would never happen if they indeed thought they were actually doing something wrong... would you imagine Margarito's team arguing about letting them fight with plaster in their hands?? Yeppppp, me neither!!!!! :smooch

 

i think margo was extremely gullible and should have used some common sense, its more his trainers fault

 

Was there any new evidence and findings from the Athletic commision?

The last press release from the comission is not conclusive. If indeed it was proven beyond reasonable doubt that Margarito is guilty as charged then . . . yes. If not then somebody from either side should file a case in court so there will be an official ruling on his guilt.

Anyone convicted of cheating should get banned permanently and their wins overturned. They should be banned from the HOF. They should return all winnings.

It doesn't matter if they are on roids, have loaded gloves, or were bum buddies with Panama Lewis. If they get convicted, then let them rot.

I think No what he did was wrong however he has paid is time, as well as the fact he is a good fiter and i think boxing needs all the good boxers it can get, also i think he would br a good match for Msley or Pacquaio both would be good fites, PBF will not fite him as he will deem it a pointless fite however it think it would also br a good fite

 

We can tell if he cheated against Cotto / Cintron, let them fight again without the wraps. If Margo wins, then I guess he was clean, although he probably did take a lot out of them when he beat thme.

The point is, we are not sure he has been doing this for all his fights so you can't ban him forever.
