A few of us called Margarito over Cotto. This was before we all knew he was fighting with loaded gloves..

Hindsight is always 20/20. If you had told me right before the Mosley fight that Margarito was going to get busted with loaded gloves I would not have picked Margarito to win that fight either.

The fact of the matter is that Margarito is not the same guy who walked through people post-Williams up to Cotto. I'd be very surprised if this were competitive at all. Pacquiao held every advantage besides strength against Margarito. After seeing the Mosley fight, I have to believe he has a strength advantage now too.

 

All of these are plain speculation on our part. Fighters fight the fight to see for sure which one comes out on top on that given night. Otherwise, let's just match them stylistically and statistically on paper.
