Margarito may miss the weight in my opinion.

He's SHREDDED the last time I saw him on TV (yesterday), and he was 155 then. Still got 5 pounds to lose.

The guys got vains popping out everywhere - a sign that he just has no more body fat to drop.

It's OK saying "he's a welterweight". He hasn't made Welterweight for over 2 years.

It's happening at 150 rather than 147 so Manny can claim he's an "8 weight world champion".

Look up "cheapest way ever to pick up a paper title" in the boxing manual

if he struggled to make this weight and comes in unhealthy.....expect a TKO...his legs will be like noodles afterwhile and his mind will be fried......he probaly won't be hurt but he wont have the energy to fend Pac off and he will just cover up.....late stoppage...bet the farm!

He hasn't made 147 in years anyway. 2008 right? Or 2009?

Hard to make weight when you've basically been inactive for 2 years.

Margarito is nearly 6 feet. He probably walks the street at 180

Pacquiao is taking on a shot welterweight, who Mosely whupped, at a catchweight, for a vacant title.

No excuses needed. He has no chance. Why he was given the fight

Yes its happening at 150 but his come back was at 154. If he was so comfortable at making 147, he would of came back at that weight, imo.

Edit... I just read your subsequent posts.. I agree he looked prime already about a week ago or so. He is struggling because of the inactivity but I dont think he will miss the weight, he has the pressure of trying to restore his reputation, I think he'd rather drain and make it, regardless of how hard of a time he may have. Can you imagine the backlash at Margarito should he miss the weight, come in at lets say 154 and somehow K.O Manny? People would really then be calling him a shameless cheater, including those who had given him the benefit of the doubt.

Margarito doesn't look ripped against Garcia, and that fight was only 4 months ago and he made that 154 lbs limit.

well usually it happens when one has to lose a lot of weight in a short period of time, like when Adamek had to go down from 200lbs to 175 to fight Chad Dawson.

But this time Margarito was in boxing shape months before the fight. The first media pictures that were taken to promote the fight Pacqiao looked out of shape while Marg looked already ripped. Since then he has gotten himself in the best shape I've seen him ever.
