A fighter can only severely dehydrate so much and an X amount of times before it just catches up to him.

Imo if Margarito looks like he did or even just slightly worse than in the picture I posted, he should be fine and ready to go the 12 rounds.......but if he's significantly more gaunt and looks like complete ****, then he's going to be in a world of trouble past the midpoint of the fight.

Yeah, I heard he took the PED's, but might not have done sufficient enough training to make those PED's work for him.

I have no idea why this fight is at 151 or whatever it was in the first place.

It's always easy to say that it "caught up" with him after a loss. Just like it's easy to make excuses for why you lose. But its just too convienent most of the time to have that excuse in your back pocket...JUST in case you end up on the losing end. Most losers have an excuse, but it's transparent.

I wouldn't worry too much about Marg's conditioning b/c Marg is like manny. They are some engergizer bunnies in the ring. And marg has NEVER looked better. He's ripped to shreds and looks more ripped than PAC. Marg is ready! But it still may not be enough. I'm hoping for a competitive fight and I think that Marg is gonna put some hurt on PAC.

He does look kinda gaunt, much like the way Pac looked in his rematch with JMM. But great fighters usually find a way to win even if they are weight-drained,...much like the way Pac did in his rematch with JMM.

pac was also struggling to put on weight to fight as a junior middleweight. his team tried to bulk him up for this fight. that's why he was so slow and lethargic early in camp since he tried to train/spar while weighing around 154-155.

as a result, pac will come in at 149-150 during fightime and still basically fight as a welter while margo will weight around 165 and have around a 15-lbs size advantage.

Listen, I'm not saying Margarito is going to be severely dehydrated or not......the only reason I brought it up was because I read Carlos Palomino's (former Welter Champ) comments on the matter.......and he does make some sense.....Margarito over a week to go on 24/7 looked completely chiseled.....a fighter usually does not look that way that far from the fight unless he's going to struggle to make the weight.

But Margarito is one that has kept himself in shape even when he does'nt have a fight scheduled, that it may help him to come down and not feel ill in making the weight.

If Margarito is stuggling to come down, at the very least we know he does'nt have to and wont come down all the way to 147 lbs, where no doubt imo Pacquiao could have made Margarito come down too if he had wished not to accumulate another meaningless trinket.
