Oscar hadn't fought at 147 in 7 years. Even Roach said he knew De La Hoya had no shot when he saw he hadn't even rehydrated properly on fight night.

Margarito had trouble making 147 for Mosley because he came into camp way overweight and out of shape. Bad idea. 150 should be no problem. He's had a longer camp and wasn't out of shape to begin with. No excuses. He only needs to lose 4 lbs of water weight for the weigh in & properly rehydrate. He'll be a SMW on fight nite. He'll probably have 15lbs on Manny.

If he seems sluggish during media availability day, I think it's just a ploy to give the other camp a false sense of security and make them overconfident and complacent.

He'll be a punching machine come fight night, all right.

For the record, I'm not saying the weight is going to be a problem.......I'm just putting it out there along with a statement from and ex-champion, and Margarito's current picture showing the beggining signs of dehydration.

To be quite frank, most already knew Margarito would have to dehydrate to make the weight......but what got me to making this thread was Margarito as Palomino stated, "looks like he does'nt have an ounce to lose" and well before the fight.

.....and I'm only looking for views and honest to goodness opinions on the matter. The *******s get so defensive that Pacquiao is'nt going to get the credit.

Listen *******s, I gave Pacquiao the credit for Hatton, Cotto, and Clottey.......as well even if Margarito struggles and does'nt hit 150 lbs on the first climb on the scale.......I'm still going to give Pacroid his credit.

......the DLH fight is a different story in that he ridiculously came in at 145 lbs and only hyrdrated 2 lbs, which tells us he was so ill coming in, his body was'nt retaining fluids.

No question, Margarito prepared to fight, and I'm fully expecting him to give a full effort (unlike Clottey) and fight to win.

:lol::lol::lol:All these *******s getting defensive, yet they will be the first to line up and blame it all on congressman Pacquiao if he gets his arse handed to him.:rofl:lol::silly

Pac said everyone made a big deal of the 1 pound Cotto dropped (146 to 145) so hes now back to return the favor to Margo, he gave him 3 pounds. He tripled it! And hes making Margo rich, this guy had cement in his hands just a couple years ago.

Manny is a sportsman. He gave Margarito a second chance, now hes going to beat the living plaster out of him.

I truly believe the difference will come down to how much weight during training camp margarito had to cut to make 150. It looks like he was walking around at a good weight before going into camp. Unlike for the mosley camp where his former trainer claims he had to lose fifty pounds not that far away from fight time. The man has fought at 147 countless times, i believe the real question asked should be is he over trained?. From looking at the 24/7 it looked like he was over training a little there.

He might be struggling just on the mere fact that he was inactive for a year, and put on that grown man weight. He looks fit and trim though, and the suspension could've done him some good.

We'll see at the weigh in. Still interested to see how big he is fight night.
