Oj won his case because LA prosecution are not use to doing there jobs correctly.. This man was caught with illegal wrap which his camp admitted belonging to margarito. Margarito interviewed on ESPN when said nothing was taken from his wraps, and that he was told only to rewrap his hands , which was a total lie.
Bing-****ing-Go. The wraps were abnormally stiff and this was supported by a number of officials. The wraps weren't legal, it doesn't matter what the foreign substance was, his hands were illegally wrapped and the commission rightly revoked his license (fortunately for him, only for a year).
In any sports there's cheating, but many don't get caught. In my opinion, not all but many headbutts, low blows, elbows, hugging and hitting are forms of cheatin, yet most go unnoticed, only thing that matters is who the winner is after the fight. Some boxers themselves have admiited doing so. In the case of Margarito, they all say guilty until proven innocent, therefore, in his fights previous the Mosley fight, he is innocent. I am definitely not a Margarito fan, I don't like his styel, like a bully that doesn't wanna go down... escept the Mosley fight of course but I just think it's a bit rough of a punishment to suspend him for a year. They could've just fined him or something.
I agree with this. I am not saying he is innocent either, but I have not been at all convince by the CSAC of proving he is guilty.
Can this come back to bite him on the ass? By that I mean, could he be suspended even longer for pushin' the issue? I've never seen a case like this. I honestly wouldn't know.
I thought Margarito 'didn't know' what was in his gloves? And didn't he already sack his trainer over the issue?
