I understand you finding it hard to beleive that Margarito didnt know, But you did see the inserts correct? There was a pad made of old gauze and the inserts were inserted in that, so if the pads already had them in there its possible that all Tony saw was the two pads he probably really didnt know about the inserts and they were small...

Not saying he didnt know, I am saying its possible he didnt.
