Ain't nothing like keeping the money in house. But if the fight does happen it would be interesting cause I cant see Pac trying to do what Shane did to Margarito because Pac is not physically stronger than Margo to try and clinch him and then hit him with the overhand right and the size difference would be very noticeable cause Margarito will be coming in 160 by fight night.
Even more meaningless than the fight with Clottey. It's like Arum is going out of his way to marginalize Pacquiao and make him irrelevant in the welterweight division, solely so he can milk a last few million dollars. Pac needs to be taking MEANINGFUL fights with champions.
You're right about that. He would have to be in and out all night, working that tremendous speed advantage. However, Margarito is slow enough that it wouldn't surprise me if it turned out to be reminiscent of the DLH fight.
Nice to see Arum is still on the job of putting the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight completely out of the woods.
How long does it take people to see through the vile smoke screen left by this greedy parasite? There has never been any ducking. He just keeps matching his own guys together. Why do you think Mayweather left? Arum will do anything to keep his hands firmly around the purse strings. Even if that means crucifying Manny's career.
hahahaha some people never learn man. anyways IF like Arum says Margarito gets a meaningfull victory or two I see no problem with this fight, depending on what those victories are. Right now of course its a **** fight. I'd rather see Pac vs Floyd/Mosley or either Berto or Bradley if the first option can't happen. Arum as usual trying to keep thiings in house that why I think his "interest" in seeing Valero fight BRadley is nothing but a load of bull****.
This is why many fans and boxing insiders think that Arum is a sick individual, a bigot, and the most hated person in boxing.
Yes he is such a sick individual for trying to keep his money in house and he is also a bigot for allowing Clottey to fight Pac.
