He won't beat Margo that early or with one shot. As a matter of fact, I see it going the distance.

Hatton went down like a ton of bricks. I really don't see Margarito going out like that. We all know Margarito can take punishment a lot better then Hatton and Cotto and punishment he will receive fighting some one like Pac.

 

Manny's team knows he can beat anyone at this point including Floyd and PW.

That right there shows Pac has no qualms about facing PBF, Berto or PW.

 

Margarito going down exactly like Hatton is extremely unlikely.

A late KO from accumulation is certainly not outside the realm of possibility (and indeed, many experts predict exactly that).

A 2nd round brutal one-punch knockout? Hmm...no.

If Margo comes in condition like when he fought Cotto, he has a big chance. Margo is slow but I don't think Pac can hurt him if he will just be hitting him on the head. Everyone hype about Pacs power but it took him 12 rounds to TKO Cotto. What more with Margo. I can see Pac hitting Margo to the body a lot.

 

Hatton rushed in on pac even when he was floored twice he just kept jumping in with that lead left hook, look Hatton to be honest was still a bit un tested I mean at that point his biggest win was over Tszyu to be honest with you and even then Kostya was past his prime..
Look at the Hatton Collazo fight, Lou IMO beat Hatton, that South paw style and counter punching ability hurt Hatton in the fight...

Margarito is not going to go out that easily, though he does pressure you he sure as hell doesnt just jump right in like Hatton, he puts pressure on you makes you use your legs more than you want to his defense is easily and often dismissed by fans of the sport, if you watch the Cotto fight he showed that he has a much better defense and jab than given credit for...

Not saying he is Ali or anything but he sure the **** isnt Ricky Hatton, Bottom line if Margarito can pressure pac the way he did cotto, close the gap and put manny on the ropes and get some body work going early, Manny will be in the fight of his life...

Gloves are they 8 or 10 ounces? according to the WBC rules at 154 the gloves are supposed to be 10 ounces, if so and if there isnt a contracted agreement with the gloves that will also effect Mannys speed and power, but lets say they are 8 ounce gloves.... Do you think Manny can crack the way Paul Williams could?

Bottom line if Tony isnt damaged goods from the mosley massacare its going to be a good night for Tony should he fight the right fight... the good news is Manny will fight back even if he gets hurt and that can only work to Tonys advantage....
