I felt a chill down my spine when he ended up coming out of the corner - not because I admired Margarito wanting it to end with the clock running (I'd expect no different from a meathead like him and that sort of kamikaze bravado in this sport is kind of played out and overrated IMO) but because it meant Sugar was going to get a chance for a much deserved legitimate KO instead of a (slightly less prestigious) RTD. :happy

 

i heard it went....

Marg - "Im ok im ok stop with the water im ok"

Corner - "No son its over no more"

Marg - 'just stop with the water and the plaster will harden and then im ok"

Corner - " no they took them before the fight"

Marg " oh ****........"

The alternative was Tony Weeks stepping in to save Goliath from David. He was up **** creek one way or the other, no real reason to dwell on it.

 

I think the only reason he gives Margarito ****, is because of his fans and the way they talk **** about Floyd Jr.

 

I think the ref should have stopped the fight. At the end of the 8 Margo didn't respond well to the question. And it was obvious that he was not ready for the 9. A macho like Margo will never give up but we don't need more brain damaged fighters.

No doubt a lot of Margarito's hate is linnk to that.
Like i said before, a lot of people seem to love certain fighter (and their own love for them) more than the sport itself.
