I know...I know...Everybody laughs, and Pacquiao fans will get mad. But in my mind, it is a matter of physics. Plaster or no plaster. Margarito is too big, too strong and too agressive for Pacquiao, plus his chin is 1st class, Mosley hit with 9 rounds worth of sledghammers. Plus Margarito will be comfortable at 150, and that will be to his advantage. I see Pacquiao coming out and teeing off on Margarito in the 1st round, maybe the same in round 2, but I see Pacquiao getting hurt and getting thumped and dropped a few times before going down from a body shot for the full 10 in either round 4 or 5. Think Joe Frazier vs George Foreman. Margarito is 5 inches taller. Yes he is one dimensional, but it will be painful to watch, but Pacquiao will take a huge beating.

Too many people get caught up in the Mosley thumping and the Plaster. Mosley is not better then Pacquiao, but he is bigger then Pacquiao, and he knew how to hit and hold. Pacquiao will hit from all angles, but not hit and hold, thus Margarito will push him around, and he will hurt him. Sorry folks, I know people will deny it and my opinion will be torn apart but come fight night, a reckoning will come. And Pacmania will end. But that being said, Pacquiao is still the best of this era.

AM has a good chance to win, yes.

Let's see what happens in the fight.

  3. I'd say there's a good chance that Pac gets KO'd. And this is coming from a huge Pac fan. Margarito's simply too big. That's why Pac's one brave mother****er to be taking him on.

Very High Risk, Low Reward = Pac's a ****ing warrior

What the hell are you talking about?

marg is a slow starter, AND 3 out of his 6 losses has been done by SOUTHPAWS.

Tell that to Golden Johnson, and Andrew Six Head Lewis both crushed early. Those guys are no where pac's class But Pacquiao has been knocked out before with body shots. I am telling you guys right now, Pacquiao will be knocked out. No plaster needed.

Those guys aren't as good as emmanuel. I do agree with you that bodyshots are the way to beat emmanuel though.

Dude Pac hasn't been stopped in over 10 years now. He hasn't even looked hurt at all in probably 5 years. Hasn't been knocked down or anything in a long time. Now I'll admit Margo is a strong SOB and could take him out, but if your thinking early KO your kidding yourself.

Maybe, if the Marg from the Cotto fight showed up, but I still doubt it. He's too slow and he didn't look good in his last fight. I've seen Pac sparr with bigger guys anyway. He eats up fighters who come forward. Pac's going to blast him with body shots and combinations and move out of the way before Marg can hit him. Think of the De La Hoya fight. It might be more competitive if Marg really pressures him. I think the big question will be can Manny hurt Margarito. If not, it could be a tough night for Manny.

Not bodyshots. All boxers gets slowed down by round after round of body shots. Not just him.

Uppercuts. Land them constantly, and you'll hurt him.

Margarito is going to get brutalized for all of 6 rounds, way to slow, way to sloppy and now you even have to question what kind of damage his punches can really do.
This fight is going to look like the Flash chipping away at a brick wall.
    TKO 6

He's a very fast guy with the best pair of legs in boxing. I would hit him in the body.
