Margarito turns down Shane Mosley fight.

    Sources has confirmed that Margarito has officially turned down HBO offer to face Shane Mosley.
    Rumor has it Margarito was not happy with HBO's 2 million offered to him for him to face Shane Mosely.

    Now Margarito fans are you still going to argue, that margarito is not business driven just like any other fighter in the sport of boxing.

    The other thread says that the Cotto rematch is a better offer. Which is probably true but the Mosley match is a winnable fight as well.

    I would like Margo to fight Williams as soon as possible though.

    Any idiot knows that all fighters are money driven once they see that first big paycheck. YOu'll fight anyone to get to the top, once you're at the top why the **** since you've paid your dues would you wanna fight for peanuts.

    Now u know godamn well Williams is gonna be frothing at the mouth about his higher offer.....now if Marg doesn't fight Williams, its not gonna look too good.

    The Cotto fight is not happening any time soon and rumor has it that cotto will be fighting for the Vacant WBO belt.

    Hmm now it all make since except when it came to floyd , according to most margarito fans Floyd avoided margarito because he was scared not that it had anything to do with money.

    im guessing he realizes Mosley is too much of a risky fight and doesnt want to take the chance at losing. dam margo, im disappointed.

    I dont know that Margo has officially rejected the offer, but it wouldnt be a shock being that from the start they were reporting that Margo didnt want the fight. By they I mean ESPN were they said that Margo was dragging his feet on the fight.

    To me it only brings to light what many of us have been saying about Margo, and that is Arum is playing games, Oh he is the most feared man then during which time Margo turned down fights with Mayweather, Wright, Ouma only to offer Mayweather 8 million when he had 15 million on the table to fight Oscar which turned out to be 25 million. Then offering Wink a fight for 4 million then saying that he isnt a middleweight when wink said he would fight for 5 million. Claiming he would fight Cotto turned it down for more money, lost to Williams claimed to have asked for a rematch, gets the fight with Cotto, then rejects the offer for Williams. Now turning down Shane.
