Margo has also fought at WW for pretty much his entire career. Floyd took on 3 of the best at SFWs within his first 3 years in the game. And if you really want to get technical about it, 2 of his first 3 WW fights were top 5 Welters when Floyd fought them.

You can see just a few posts up that I never said he was scared. The hypocrisy is hilarious though.

Bob Arum approved the deal. Who knows how much Shane was offered.

You have a better chance of wining the powerball lotto than you do of seeing Margo rematching his daddy Williams.

What?! Didn't Margo refuse a rematch with Williams already?!

Mind you, wasn't it Margo who called out Mosley on HBO?

Can somebody post the source of where Margo has turned down the Mosley fight please? This board is the only one I've seen it mentioned on and the original post says "sources" without posting one.

Mosley Margo is pretty pointless IMO and as a Mosley fan I don't want to see him in with Margo at this stage of his career.

Until Margo announces who his next fight will be against, I will reserve judgement.

Now that I've entered the thread, I expect all AM fans to leave. Now AM knows that Arum is a hypocrite. He wants to fill his own pockets. So do we all agree that AM is scared of Shane's left hook? You all agreed Floyd was scared of AM a while back. You AM fans are hypocrites lol. Day after day Floyd's fans tried to explain to you how Arum operates and yet you still called Floyd a coward lol. Now look at you lol.

Did you ask for the source when Floyd supposedly turned down a supposed 8 mil from Arum to fight AM? Hell no. Now you need a source lol. 8 mil and WBC title fighting Baldy who beat Judah and Gatti versus 7 mil and WBO title fighting little known AM who Arum thought could beat Floyd lol. Arum just wanted to smear Floyd because he knew Floyd was leaving him. Dlh left so he wasn't going to let Floyd go without smearing him. AM fans, you are now officially under the gun. You have 2 hours to name an opponent for AM. Fans preferably want the Williams rematch, but we suspect that with AM's history of layoffs, he will wait for the Cotto rematch.

So where is the link to the announcement that the fight is off?

I see it's on Boxrec that Mosley is listed as fighting Berto now...but is there anywhere else you can read about it?

The ultimate irony of Floyd fans calling Margo a hypocrite is that is when he avoided Arums' 8 million offer, many pointed to his fight with Oscar as being vindication.

I think you're right to question Margo's "pride Vs money" if that is the case - But I think there's a few fights that I wouldn't question the decision over:

    Margo Vs

    Williams - Obvious rematch
    Clottey - Obvious rematch
Mayweather - Oh god let it happen

    I'd almost give a pass too -

Cotto - But Cotto has a fight with Michael Jennings.

Common sense Reg. You know damn well that fight is worth more than 4 million.

2 million for Tony must mean that Mosley wanted more. Why does he deserve more?

Arum accepted because Arum ****ed Tony on the Cotto fight also. What did he get for Cotto? That was taken as a stepup to a bigger payday and then he gets pretty much the same amount?

No dice. I don't know what Mosley is getting either but I know damn well that fight is worth more than 4 million. 2 million for the guy who should be headlining the fight sounds like robbery. Or maybe Arum is expecting Tony to bend over like Manny has all these years.

I dont think that its a fight that is worth more then 4 million...Its not going to be 4 million...What if Shane was only getting 1.5 you would still find another excuse....Look dude, I have no problem with the act of Margo turning down a fight it happens in boxing all the time..What I have a problem with is 1)the guy claims to be the most avoided fighter in boxing 2)claims (both his fans and him) that he is above looking for money fights, and that he fights for pride 3)had not called shane out to start with, and talked **** about him pissing his pants at the thought of fighting Margo...

You just cant do those kinds of things and then back out of a fight, its not good for any reason:good
