Williams should fight Shane then Berto then Cotto should he pick up a belt and say fuk you to Margo, I aready own your ass:yep

 

I dont have a problem with that since going after big money means you have to fight big names. My guess is Margo wants Oscar or Cotto, if not he will fight 10 lost fighters while Arum claim that everyone is scared to fight him.:rofl

 

To be a fan of Margarito in the first place you have to be the lowest common denominator. Floyds like a film with subtitles and a plot to these bozo's.

He isnt going to fight anyone of note unless thier names are Oscar or Cotto..You know what I would love to see...Oscar get rid of Pac which is 100% sure, Cotto pick up the wbo which is most likely, Williams fight Shane, Berto fight Clottley and leave Margo out to dry were he should be. This guy has a long history of pulling this sh*t, it just that for years no one paid any attention to him, it was only once that fake offer of 8 million was made to Floyd that the Floyd haters jumped on Margo's bandwagon with all thier bull**** and half truths.

Maybe he really thinks DLH will fight him? And if He beats the **** out of Mosely (Which I bet he thinks he will) than there is no way that DLH will fight him... I mean its stupid, but think about it.... He has always stated that he wants DLH (just like every other boxer in the world ) and if he were to fight DLH it would be more $$$ than fighting 4 or 5 more dangerous opponents, remember this is a business, and these fighters do in fact put a lot on the line for their future. That could be the only reason I could think of, I mean if he rejects mosely , than who else is out there? Does he just want to pick on small Welterweights like Cotto and Berto? Or does he just want to fight DLH or PBF for $$$$/ Recognition ?

 

He would have to fight and beat Mosley to even show up on DLH's radar at this point. DLH won't fight anyone that isn't a HUGE draw among even casual fans, and right now Margarito isn't one, welterweight champ or no. Beating an established big name like Mosley would at least put him in Oscar's sights.

 

You cant defend Margarito for this. This could have been a good scrap. Hopefully, it can still be made.

It's not Williams' problem none are interested to fight him, he tried to make fights but none seemed to be free nor interested.

Mosley was in talks with Margarito, only now announced as a failure.

Berto was set to fight Forbes and is hooked to fight his mandatory Collazo, who they will fight next.

Cotto coming off a KO loss to Margarito and has already written plans to fight Margarito sometime next year isn't the best opponent for Williams. Especially when it's nearly a guarantee that there's no way in hell Arum will put Cotto against Williams, he already made that mistake with Margarito and doesn't plan to do so again especially not for a Cotto coming off a KO loss.

Williams' decision to move up for half decent fights and to stay active isn't a bad decision at all.

 

Bit disappointing to be honest, it would have been a good win for Margo. He needs to stay active and Mosley would have been a nice name on the resume.
