Although it is also illegal to utilize used wraps, I think it is of lesser consequence than there being a foregin substance on them. That's why he got the spanking he's getting and why he is being ripped apart far more than others who have been guilty of wrapping trangressions.

Exactly. If they gave him a lifetime ban, fine. The problem is, they are allowing him to box now, but the commissions aren't. The only way they can justify this, is by giving us a valid reason why he shouldn't box after serving his punishment and they haven't done that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this depend on the state commissions rules? I don't believe it's an across the board rule.

Pretty sure foreign substances are illegal across the board.

Margo never had a set length of punishment. He had his liscense revoked. When you have your liscense revoked, you are eligible to re-apply for it after a year. However, no commission is under any obligation to grant the liscense.

It was a pad though. I'm sure in some states, the boxers team bring their own materials.

Still, there has to be a reason why he can't get his licence back. His punishment was a year out of the ring, but what reason is there to keep him out of the ring? He could have recieved a lifetime ban or a 10 years ban and that would have been fine, if that was his punishment. There's just to way to justify this additional punishment.

Dude, check the links I posted a page or so back. It answers all questions. It was NOT just an old pad. Again, don't believe everything you read on esb, people will have you believe what they want you to believe.

It says it was a blood stained, hardened pad.

“I immediately retrieved it. I believe it was an illegal pad–it needed to be confiscated. I observed what appeared to be a bloodstain. It was not new and their was a white substance smeared across the knuckles. It was hard to the touch–like Plaster of Paris.”- Mike Bray, License Inspector

Does that sound like just an old pad?
