    [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]The California State Athletic Commission’s disciplinary hearing for Antonio Margarito and his trainer Javier Capetillo began today. According to the LA Times, CSAC Inspector Che Guevara testified that the pad inside Margarito’s hand wraps was “not hard as a rock, but firm and hard.” The pad is still being tested by the Commission. Margarito and Capetillo are currently suspended pending the outcome of this case.

    The updates from the hearing are....

    State Attorney opens up with request to have Margie's license revoked and for him to get the harshest penalty possible.

    The state inspector testified that the wraps were very suspect.

    What part of that looks good to you?

    Thats why I say take your head out of Margie's ass so you can see!!!!

    if the man did cheat, he deserves even his fans to turn on him, which might be the case with Captian but so far nothing has been proven and its been three weeks.

    This is freaking unbelievable......how long could it take to analyze if there was freaking plaster in those wraps?

    The only thing we get out of it is that at least we know that the substance confiscated was'nt rock hard, as many previously reported......

    ......the word used by the inspector was firm, which is a big difference!

    The states opening arguement is always going to be the harshest penalty have you ever been arrested and gone to court? that is always the opening statement no matter what the case is no matter if guilty or not.

    The wraps looked suspect, the very first post to this thread shows you what was stated in the hearing, they were not hard as a rock but firm and stiff that doesnt mean they used plaster according to some reports they said the pads looked used from either training or a previous fight, if that is the case that could explain why they are so hard.
