Though I want Margarito banned forever, I do want to see him in a rematch with Cotto minus the Plaster of Paris (at least for sure it won't be there this time).

 

I would love to see a rematch with Cotto and Mosely.

 

Saw on ESPN ticker tape that he got licensed in Texas. Anybody else hear this?

 

Well there's the "esteemed" Texas commission to the rescue.

 

The guy was caught with a plaster-LIKE substance in his gloves. The courts were too caught up dealing with real crimes that they didn't even investigate how bad it actually was. People automatically assume the worst and he is (IMO, rightfully) banished for a year.

Margo did his time. I don't care how upset everyone on this site gets, he'll definitely add to the card on March 13th.

I just wish it was against a more known fighter and at a real weight class.

Plasterlike is the key word......The California State Attorney threatened to file criminal charges against Margarito, but I guess that fell through due to lack of evidence......

At the hearing to suspend Margarito for a year, it was stated that the alleged knucklepads that were tampered with felt firmer than normal, but were not hard.

......I doubt that they have yet to harden, as to date, criminal charges have yet to be charged against Margarito.

The man is going to make a comeback, and I doubt very seriously that either Cotto, or Cintron will line up to taka a turn at him!

 

No way I will ever watch another fight involving this cheating ****.

Sure Margo ( might ) have been hurting Cotto more than he should have but Cotto couldnt seem to slow margo down any. Now that Cotto has taken two pastings I get the feeling Margo at 154 might actually be another loss

 

Jeez Cintron doesnt even want to be in the same building as Antonio !
