With the fight just around the corner most boxing purists seem to think that Margarito will walk through Mosley and as a boxing purist myself I see that it can go 2 ways but judging from Mosleys last performances in the ring it seems like he may be fading and the longer the fight goes I see this becoming more of a Margarito-Cotto Fight but if Mosley can keep his man spinning and uses lateral movement, keeping the fight long range then he might have a chance but I see this one swaying towards Margarito after the 7th Round. I initially thought Mosley would be able to do what Cotto Couldn't do but I believe Mosley will need all of his resolve in this fight because he is in for a bumpy night. How do you guys see this one going ?
I'm leaning towards another fighter from the 90's/00's goes down. I like SSM and have followed his entire boxing run, But this fight may need a bit more than what Mosley has left. That said, Shane has the skills....But sometimes that ain't enough. I expect Margarito to maul him down, & stop him late or win a decison. Mosley is old school and likes to brawl, he will need to be 100% and throw over 100 punches a round to keep Margarito away from him. (On paper) I'm defo gonna be watching this one.
Mosley hasn't been too successful against bigger opponents. Mosley's power will not be enough to keep Margarito's pressure off of him. Margarito by UD or late late stoppage.
Mosley has looked less than spectacular lately. On the other hand, I think Margarito is slightly overrated. A stick and move game plan should nullify the Tijuana Tornado. I think if Sugar Shane sticks to a game plan, he can make this a dull, but close fight that goes to the cards. Margarito wins by a close decsion.
I tend to think margo is going to get a late tko, but if shane can use the movement, boxing skills, to put the first few rounds in the books, and can nullify margo's increasing pressure in the late rounds and last till the bell, mosley might get a decision
