Margarito v Pacquiao...drug testing?

Assuming Mayweather and Pacquiao can come to an agreement in 2011 for this mega bout, also assuming this will be both boxers next bout. Do you think they should add the random testing similar to, if not the same testing Mayweather and Mosley conducted for their bout...or similar to what Mayweather is asking for Pacquiao if they were to ever meet? :huh

Like I've already said, Mayweather has already been through a training camp and 12 round bout whilst having blood drawn, etc. Would applying these tests to the Margarito v Pacquiao bout give Pacquiao, not necessarily an advantage...but added knowledge he can go through a tough training camp and still produce the goods over 12 rounds?

(Edit...When I say, should they add the random testing to the bout...I mean willingly, not that the random testing should be forced upon them)

 

Both would be taking the tests (obviously assuming if they did it)...no doubt Margarito would agree to it anyway. I just thought it could benefit Pacquiao, and possibly make negotiations easier for the Mayweather bout.

 

No need for that...Margarito isn't going to be able to move in the build up to this bout.

Those are the important words in your post.

The majority of sports now have year round testing...boxing is one of the most dangerous if not the most dangerous sport, why shouldn't there be proper testing? Especially when drug cheats are finding new ways...
