None only speculation but its not far fetched to think he did.. People that say that he didnt or there isnt any proof,well thats just being in denial that Margo cheated.. There's more reason for him to have cheated in that fight than for him not too..

 

So what your saying is if a boxer clenches his hand, his fist will be harder? I couldn't pass on that one. Anything in or around your fist will make it harder. That is not science. Margarito Vindicated due to what? He is a cheat and got caught and look at the beat down he took. Manny was just unloading at will. Any boxer's face would look like that after fighting someone like the way Manny fights.

...and that's enough to call him a cheater, and if you are a cheater then you deserve no benefit of the doubt. None. The disgrace, disreputation and suspicion surrounding him was brought on him by himself. I hope he never sees another dollar from boxing again. The sport is dangerous enough as it is. And seriously, this isn't a court of law where you need to be proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If the guy wasn't your fighter, or if you don't have some kind of personal agenda, how can you defend the guy and assume he never cheated before the one time he got caught. You're either a cheater or you're not...and he is. And that's been proven.

 

Margarito would have beaten Cotto no matter what.

 

People saying that Margo didnt cheat is similar to "If the glove dont fit you must acquit".. Why is it so hard to believe that he would cheat with Shane and NOT Cotto cmon now.. Not to mention the hole in his wraps with blood under the wrap after the fight

I have addressed this issue many times. The NSAC and CSAC have completely different rules regarding the hand wrapping procedure. There is no evidence that Margarito cheated against Cotto.


If anything, last night helped to knock down the meme that the damage done to Cotto's face during the Margarito fight could only have come from loaded gloves. Pac did the same number on Cotto's face that Margo did.
