Margarito/Mosley. Its a no brainer. I dont think much of Clottey as a fighter.

I say Mosley is getting carried to this situation a bit too much for my liking and I'm a great Shane's fan. Sugar needs to impress against Mayo, outbox, outpunch and punish him to bring some interest to that fight, otherwise Margo-Clottey would be a natural and more competitive bout. Mosley should have gotten a major eliminator to get a pole position and that would have been the Judah TKO but it was Clottey to capitalize and therefore... Mosley would have needed a major, major eliminator and not a name of the past to get himself on the front line. This fight is much more a Mayo opportunity rather than anything else... Shane should have gone after Berto or even get himself and Clottey in the ring to decide who's the one to unify with Margo later on.

Clottey because I strongly believe Mosley is past his best days and Clottey would put up a better fight. Mosley has nothing to prove and Clottey does. Whether you like to admit that or not, it makes for better fights.

I agree that Clottey has something to prove after those "hand injuries" and having won clearly the first four rounds against Tony. In short contrast, Margo has to prove that he can destroy Shane like he would against Hoya - whether you like it or not, Shane is the next big name for Tony after Oscar and around these weight classes. And if Tony is to prove that Shane would be easily erased from competition like Oscar would against him, then Shane has something to defend and that has been Margarito's big label PRIDE. I admit Clottey would have more interest right away but maybe Shane has a way to trick Margo, remember many said that boxing skills, flashy style and savoir faire would have been all Floyd may have needed to frustrate Tony - Shane is the closest thing to Floyd after the Cotto loss to Tony.

Dorf, all that will happen is that everyone will say Mosley was 37 years old and well past his prime. He'll get little respect for this victory. Much less than what he got for Cotto.

Clottey - Williams are the fights he needs to take. Forget about Mosley for now. Mosley hasn't earned it.

There is no need for Margarito to fight Clottey right now, he can fight Clottey at any point in the immediate future. First of all Clottey has the built in excuse of his arm injury - which he will invoke if he loses to Margarito again. Secondly, as I said in my opeing post there isn't much time left for Mosley, and to add to that there aren't very many big name/lucrative fights for Margarito at all period. Taking the Mosley fight first is a no-brainer. I agree with the previous poster who said that.
