WOW, this is a very risky fight for Cotto but you know what? If PW was able to redeem himself against Quintana I don't see why Cotto can't pursue the same thing although I know that we can't compare PW vs Quintana I against Margo vs Cotto I.

I'm going to support my fighter on this one... He needs to be better condittion over all and have A, B & C plan for the fight but we all have to agree that it takes balls from Cotto to try to redeem himself from such a devastating loss.

I'm really doubting that. Usually after a fighter loses by KO, or however they lose...The next time that fighter does better because: He understands how much power his opponent has, doesn't underestimate him, trains harder, better gameplan, and the fact HE ALREADY TOOK HIS PUNCHES.
It's kind of like if you just start training for boxing, and your first match is against one of the hardest hitting, fastest, most experienced mofo you can get, and he KICKS YOUR ASS! After receive this beating...Nobody else can possibly hurt you any worse. You get hit hard in your 2nd fight, and your like *my god that was hard...Not nearly as bad as that first guy though*. That's your outlook from then on. Fight the best and things can only get easier.

This would be fantastic for the sport, the first fight was good and the second could get so much hype. I am going to leave my thoughts on who is going to win at the moment, because to begin with i want to see how Cotto responds to his first loss.

I don't think Cotto would beat Margarito in a month of Sundays. What more could Cotto do? He hit Margarito with everything but the sink, moved around better than he ever did, constantly got the angle , and outscored Marg in almost all the exchanges. Still he got stopped. Many great fighters have their nemisis. Margarito will always be a stylistic nightmare for Cotto.

That's exactly whats going to make this fight so interesting to watch, it takes balls to take this rematch and Cotto will get the "W" if he clinches more, disrupt Margo's rythm and Cotto will win this match.

    1. Cotto cant hurt Margarito remember?
    2. Margarito can hurt Cotto

Unless Cotto gets Roger Mayweather as a trainer, runs at high altitude from now until the fight and busts a hit and run gameplan for 12 rounds without fading I can see him maybe winning but not the way things are going.

You would have to be an idiot to even imply that Margarito would duck anybody. He isn't like that - he is a throwback. Margarito fights anybody Arum puts infront of him, and it don't matter who they've beat, how big they are, how hard they hit, how fast they are, or how handsome or ugly they are. Margarito doesn't duck anybody, ever.
