Margarito vs. Cotto II (will happen)

I just ran a thread earlier on this with a link including Arum's & Jimemenz from Top Rank Boxing affirming the rematch.

Anyways....I do look forward to it and go with Cotto KO in a bad way.

 

Margarito is punchy and has taken a lot of punishment over the last 5 years. I expect Cotto to be fresh and ready for the fight when it takes place in the summer. Not to mention that the lack of the loaded gloves will greatly favor Cotto. :yep

 

So many factors... (lets assume he didn't cheat vs Cotto)

If Margo is broken, I pick Cotto.


If Margo is not broken, and Cotto refuses to clinch, I pick Margo.

If Cotto chooses to clinch, broken or not, I pick Cotto.

 

I think Eze hit it pretty good.....

Still Margie will come into the ring assuming he owns Cotto trying to intimidate him...I know Cotto and he is definitely not intimidated one bit
and has his confidence....there is another reason that he is holding close to his chest as to why he lost.
Bottom line....Cotto will win the rematch....Margie will be in for another long night.

In answer to your question.....definitely will savagely attack the body from the opening bell.

If Margarito doesn't get to put rocks in his gloves, I'll take Cotto by decision.

 

Just against a boxer like Sugar Shane. He took Cotto's just fine and beat him into submission. Almost ran him out the ring.

I'm shocked by the poll numbers. Unless Margarito really got something taken outta him he should still come out on top. I know he took something outta Cotto so they are on more even terms than ever. Cotto can box better but his endurance may fade like before and I doubt he'll be able to absorb those shots the way he did.. Same goes for Margarito.

 

Cotto's chin is suspect. Margarito takes advantage of those shaky whiskers again!
