All i know is it would be a war. No "if he had plaster" comments Por Favor just judge Margarito that knocked out Cotto against Cuevas.
Although Margarito has a high punch output. He wouldn't be able to hurt a prime Cuevas. & Antonio's willingness to trade, would be his undoing here with Pipino's bombs. After about four rounds of absorbing shots, a Cuevas left hook would land flush & it would be lights out for Antonio.
Now that we know Tony's chin isn't in fact the GOAT, I'd have to say Pipino by cold (10-count) KO after several bloody rounds. Before the myth was busted I'd have said Cuevas by decision or late corner stoppage. Now if you made Tony 2x faster you'd possibly have a repeat of Hearns. Tony after snorting an eight ball still ain't Hitman, though.
Don't understand the thread. Margarito is exactly the kind of opponent Cuevas would smatter -- he's there to be hit, he just has high punch resistance, which means jack all to Cuevas.
cuevas around the 6th margarito is not hard to hit and that is usually bad news if you are fighting cuevas
