Maybe in England, Hatton has a chance. The ref would allow him to hold and hit, and Margarito would be so frustrated, he might leave himself open, ala Castillo.

 

Hatton is finished he doesnt even beat Pac let alone Margo.

 

I am british, am a Hatton fan, but both Margarito and Cotto would both destroy Ricky at 147lbs. leaving him a bleeding mess within 6 rounds. At 140 Ricky would have more of a chance, but then thats just not going to happen is it. Margarito wouldnt be able to slim down to 140, as it is he looks like he should be a middleweight .

 

Margarito vs Castillo would be a better fight IMO, more action packed at 147

 

Hatton didn't beat Castillo because he left himself open!

Hatton is a smaller version of Margarito.

 

Hatton's too small. He gets stopped by round 6 at the latest.

Honestly, if you have a problem with Ricky Hatton there is no need to hire a hit man to take him out.
Simply have him sign a contract to fight Tony, this effectively removes you from any and all implications regarding his ill fated demise.

2. Hatton has better chin & heart than Cotto

But - Hatton will never take a backward step, and there is no way anybody will outslug Margarito.

At 140 Hatton is a beast, similar to Margarito at 147.

By moving up he gives up most of his physical advantages that he uses over his opponents.

hatton is garbage. He let a light hitting mayweather knock him out. And if the collozo fight was three rounds longer he would have lossed that fight. It should be illegal to put margarito in the same ring as hatton. It should be a felony to allow this fight on pay per view. Put it on abc on sat afternoon. Margarito in a third round knock out. The next days headline would read, "English fighter ricky hatton's remains will be flown home later today".

 

Happen for what reason? Hatton would be way more beat up than Cotto and Cintron.
