Margorito would not throw over a hundred punches a round because PBF would not let him. Watch the Cotto Margo fight again and you can count the punches on one hand that Margo threw while moving. Cotto would just come to a complete stop and let Margo throw. Floyd is never going to just completely stop and let Margo get off. Margo would get hit with right hand leads and check hooks all night long with PBF winning a UD like 9-3 or 8-4. Floyd simply does not get tired and he loves when someone just chases him all night with no jab. Floyd in a very easy UD.:bbb

 

Please Floyd stops when he is laying on the ropes he does this every single fight, he uses the ropes to rest while he slips and ducks and allows the other man to work, that is a big no no with Tony.:nono

 

Exactly and the no jab is a big reason why Margo will lose that and the fact he doesn't fight tall and gives up his height to get inside which plays right into PBF's hands especially the way Margo follows people around the ring. He will be picked apart doing this against someone with superior footwork counter-punching and speed to beat him to the punch all night long. PBF by wide UD is the smart pick here.:deal

 

He can do it because he's the best in the game at fighting off the ropes....he's at home there. Margo would be no different the guy is slow and wide his shots are easily blocked, countered or PBF can clinch or if he gets to close put a forearm in Margo's throat.:yep

Floyd has only had success on them ropes becuase the guys he fought did not make the adjustment needed to make Floyd pay on them ropes.

Here is what I am talking about, that cross over defense style that Floyd uses left hand down right hand up to block the hooks right?

Okay look at the Margarito Cintron rematch, Cintron used a similar style left hand low right hand high, Margarito rather than shooting while he was in front of Cintron he would pivot off to his right, and with that left hand down Margarito was able to score the left hook and right hand over the top, if Floyd lays on them ropes like that Margarito will make that adjustment and Floyd will get hit he will not be able to slip the way he has in previous fights because Margarito will then have the angle on Floyd.

I know your going to read this and take it at face value and try to come back to knock down my arguement, look at the rematch between those guys and you will see what I mean, and when you do that then come back and reply.

Pimp C forward until about the 3min 10 second mark, from there on you can see how Tony deals with that cross over defense style, notice how he steps to his right and fires that left hook right hand, notice how when they are squared up that right uppercut breaks through that gaurd, no I am not saying Cintron is something special I am simply pointing out this is what you do against that style.

Don't talk about the adjustment game when you're talking about PBF-Margo. PBF is the master of making adjustments and the best in the business at doing it. Margo is the one-dimensional come forward pressure fighter who doesn't make adjustments just follows people around until he wears you out he only knows one way to fight. So now you want me to believe that a simple fighter like Margo will find PBF on the ropes but no one else has been able to do in great numbers? If anyone here will be making any adjustments it will be PBF not the other way around.:deal
