i did three time already Iv already answer that question for you SSM is not a boxer , he's a boxer/ puncher who relied on his speed and strength to wear fighters down.. B level boxer A+ speed demon and Puncher in his prime .
dude are you dumb stupid or slow , the man is not a boxer .. again B[/quote] So, Cotto is a C level boxer, yet he out boxed a B level boxer in SSM? Did he not "outbox" SSM? Out jabbed? and even at some point picked him off with counter shots? isnt that not "boxing".. wouldnt that make Cotto's boxing ability higher then a C level, when h e "outboxes" B level boxers :blurp
Sorry but to many didn't cotto didn't beat the Slower mosley, cotto is faster then mosely at this stage of mosley's career .. Cotto may have beat Mosley but it was nothing to write home about. Cotto just started working on improving his boxing game but its no where it should be.. again Cotto C, Mosley B I thought there fight should have been a draw at best. Now do what I ask .. create a thread asking the poster who is the better boxer between cotto and Floyd ..
lol@ you thinking a draw at best Cotto is an A level boxer son, he out boxed the B level boxer in SSM..:hi:
Cotto is a A level boxer Cotto can out box floyd Cotto won a land slide against Shane Dude where are you from deny land atsch Cotto is a excellent body puncher but what he is not is a A level boxer .. if you don't know you'd better ask somebody ..
better yet show me a fight where Cotto tried to box besides Shane and Margarito .. and each time tried he didn't look all that great.
Cotto is ELITE and an A level fighter.. Cotto can beat Floyd and thats why he wanted Hatton and not Cotto Cotto won a UD against SSM.. DC C
Cotto is an elite fighter but he is not an A level boxer .. Second you need to check your history , when floyd fought at 135 and then moved up to 140 , Arum went on record saying that he would not put Cotto in with a fighter like Floyd , even though floyd was the smaller of the 2 , because Arum new and so did Cotto's camp that floyd would have ruined him. It took Cotto 3 years to get ready for floyd 3 years , 3 years before cotto was even ready to even be mention as a possible fight for floyd. And the reason they're not fighting now is because of Arum.
yeah yeah yeah... fighters, promoters..they bring there fighters along so they dont ruin them,,its boxing.. but Cotto now at his best at 147 and Floyd p4p #1 and 147 champ.. they should have fought..Arum isnt the reason ,. its Floyd AGAIN..JUST like when Arum tried to pit Floyd and Margo together and Floyd made excuses... thats just what he does when someone is a real threat..makes excuses.. then retires... Floyd may not weigh as much as Cotto in between fights but he has advantages like height and reach and this is boxiig BTW..so. enough with the excuses .. Maybe Arum was thinking like Floyd when he told MArgo "bigger and better down the line " ..now that down the line is here, Floyd conviently retires
According to Arum Floyd would have taken the Margarito fight for 8 mill which was also part of a 3 fight deal that included cotto and hatton for 7 , Floyd wanted 10 for the Hatton and Cotto fight, when arum didn't budge on the offer floyd bought out his contract and fought Baldi, Oscar and Hatton for twice the amount Arum was asking for his 3 fight deal. Floyd is also faster then Cotto so whats your point with this .. Only floyd know the reason for his retirement and if its for good or not.
Mayweather might be the betting fave, but he'd be a big underdog if they ever fought. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Mayweather does not have the power or the punch activity to keep Margarito off him for a full 3 minutes over 12 rounds. Some posters think he can dodge anything Margarito throws, and he will dodge many, but he cannot dodge all. And he especially cannot do that while trying to fire back effective punches to keep Margarito off him. And he won't be able to pot **** his way to a win. No way. He'll expunge more energy then he's ever had to while running and trying to keep Margarito off him. HIs inactivity, and the FACT that he doesn't punch as often as he used to wil take a toll. Doeasn't matter how conditioned you are, when you fight a different fight then you are used to, it will take effect. This just is not a fight Mayweather can win. He'll be too small and lose to the bigger, stronger and more determined man.
