Right now Oscar will get stop by Margo if this goes 12 round's it will be Oscar first real BEATING!!! Oscar late in a fight get's slower and weaker Margo get's stronger dont see how DLH win's this one.

If they are honest, they see how DLH cannot cope with pressure effectively. They see how as he gets worse late, Margarito gets better. Hell, Roach even said DLH fights so tense he wears himself out in fights. When was the last time DLH was effective LATE in a fight? Against a guy his size? But hey, DLH is a bigger name, and beat better fighters. So I guess that means he is better even at this point. :roll:

I don't know how old you are but Hoya used to be famous for finishing strong, this is back when Hoya was in the lighter weights and smacking the little guys around just like Margo today. This fight is 50/50 only cuz MArgo is prime while Hoya has slipped from prime. But Hoya is the better boxer with the better punching power of the two. What do you think is gonna happen when Margo can't bully his opponent? Remember Williams?

 

WAS is a key word here. There's no doubt DLh in 2000 would beat Margarito. Maybe ven stop him. But not today. Ans especially @ 147. @ 154, I give DLH a better chance, as he won't be as weak. But he still doesn't fight a whole round. He has his lulls. Margarito stays on you constantly. Doesn't give you an opportunity to get comfortable, unless you cna fight his fight and better, as Williams did. But that type of pace is hard to keep up with. If you're throwing more power punches early and more often then your jabbing, it'sll wear on you. And that's where I think DLH loses it. He'll connect on Margarito, but I think his chin will stand up to him. And I'd never count out DLH if his left hook is landing.

 

And i dont know how old you are to but that was a long time ago when he use old fighter's and like you said short fighter's to look great:deal

Point is he is not the same fighter he once was.And it's funny cause Oscar is trying to do what he use to do back in his day's fight smaller man to make him look great to bad he didn't look that good on his last fight with a smaller man And look at his next fight he is fighting Pac WTF!!!

To be honest with you I think Baldomir's win over Judah is FAR better in terms of accomplishments that everything Margarito did at the time and that's a fact. Are you going to say that his win over Six heads Lewis is better?, unranked Manuel Gomez?, the only win you can talk about is Cintron and to be honest a win over Judah, no matter how low you decided to rate him now comes nothing close to it. Judah was rated very high at the time and for obvious reasons, the way he demolished undisputed champion Spinks is more than enough and far better than anything Margarito did at the time. Why didn't Margarito try to seek a win like that?, if you honestly believe it's because he was ducked or the most feared man on the planet then you just make others laugh. Aren't you surprised how EVERYONE wants to fight him now that he got ONE big win under his belt?, it's all about business and his wins back then were pretty much worthless for anyone to bother and fight him. Those guys wants to make money and aren't ging to give out an easy hand-out for no one unless they're forced to. Margarito didn't exactly force them either, the WBO title seemed to be his main goal.

Of course the answer is no, but Winky still got some good fights despite his losses to other fights. His skills were there to see and people would understand why the claims about no one wanting to fight him are there, even so I don't think those guys are all "ducked", you can force a certain type of match if you want it bad enough, that isn't completely impossible in boxing. If you think he didn't get any fights because he was ducked then you did buy into the most feared man hype.

Oddsmakers base those after serious discussion/investigation with real professionals that follow boxing. There's a lot of money behind this, they don't pick a favorite based on nothing or just pure hype, even though they do get proven wrong a lot, who doesn't?

Inactivity will be taken into account but the most they take into account is boxing styles, looking at Margarito's and Mayweather's doesn't make it difficult at all to make Mayweather the favorite, even a huge favorite.

Margo's doing the same thing now is my only point. I don't agree with the Pac fight at all. Hoya looked better against Floyd than anyone Floyd ever fought before that. BTW, if Marg ever faced a prime Quartey,Trinidad, Mosley, Hopkins he'd be expooosssed. Knocked the **** out.
