Margarito VS Mayweathers last 4 opponents?

Yeah I dont see Margo winning many if any of those fight. Im not sure that he would beat Tito right now...Say what you will, but if you stand in front of Tito your going to get knocked out. Keep in mind everyone thought that Mayorga had a great chin, then he fought tito and goodnight, then Oscar BOOM and finally Shane POW.

I guess i judge it differently then you. Winning a World Title is the ultimate goal in boxing. But boxing isn't run like a regular sport anymore. Guys get shots or don't get shots for the most ****ed up reasons, usually involving money, promoters, and the sanctioning orgs. You can try to say it any way you want, but we both know Badlomir was brought in to make Judah look good. And while it was a huge win for him, it said more about Judah. WHy everyone thinks he's still a top WW is crazy. He's the same now as he was @ 140.

Skills or not, that has nothing to do with it. Think people were afraid of Tyson because of his skill? And Winky didn't get any big fights till Shane gave him a shot. He made the most of it and now Margarito is as well. And you can't force people to fight no matter how much money you throw Scar. You know it's way more difficult then just 'wanting it bad enough', especially with grudges and politics and networkd favors. Yo don't think Hagler wanted it enough? Or Winky? Or JMM Marquez? They wanted it asmuch as anyone, but toiled for most of their careers in unkowns or avoided.

Sure. But that doesn't mean an oddsmaker can picj fights. They also go buythe # of betss placed and on who. A fight can go from 4-1 to 2-1 just based on bets.

Never said he didn't try to seek wins he just never tried hard enough in my opinion, their were ike 6 different unified champions in the division when he was active and it really doesn't make sense to me that all of them ducked him.

Baldomir was looked at as a tune-up, pretty much the same way Sharmba Mitchell was looked at fighting Mayweather. Though we both can't ignore the fact that he was the #1 contender for the WBC going into this one.

As far as I remember Vargas was a big enough name and he fought Winky. JMM being ducked is a fact, as far as I remember a major name that ducked him was Hamed at the time, their were even rumors that Morales and Barrera ducked him but I'm not really sure enough on that since I didn't really look into it. Hagler's case is also totally different and his team did use the most ducked man hype approach for their own reasons and I believe they had far better reasons and wins to justify that, unlike Margarito.

Yeah but it all starts based on what type of research they do, it only rises and drops thanks to the money people decide to put on.

That was my prediction and it will remain, doesn't mean it's a fact and will happen 100% of course.

If Margarito had to fight, he could get down to 147 at best.




I think that should impact your view mayweather's accomplishments in his last 4 fights. Also, it diminishes the idea that margo is better cuz he wuda starched those guys (cept for hoya)

 

Seriously, I think Hoya's next fight after Pac is Margo. Don't get me wrong I do like Margo and was for him in all his fights up until this year when his mouth and his nuthuggers made me have to go against him a bit. But I am a fan of the guy's fights and will continue to watch him. I just don't think he's invincible like everyone else is acting. Same **** with Floyd not to long ago and then Cotto was the invincible one after that. Margo's a good champ who gave us fight of the year vs Cotto. But I honestly think his competition is lacking a bit in term of boxing prowess and he can clean house at 147 but it all ends if he moves to 154.
