Do I know if the pad was loaded or not...??? More evidence points to YES, including testimony from Capetillo and Margarito...!!! Did Capetillo keep a pad from one fight to another...??? Its possible. Capetillo did say he took "that pad" from his bag, accidentally...!!! Remember Keith Kizer from NSAC said that Margarito did not turn the handwraps from the [first] Cotto fight over to the commission, but then again the NSAC did not ask for the handwraps...!!! Do some fighters and trainers use knuckle pads more than once in the gym...??? YES, so the fact that those pads were in Capetillo's gym bag could have been an honest mistake; but if Capetillo would have used fresh, new gauze like he was supposed to, then none of this would have played out...!!!
Exactly !! Javier admitted it was his mistake his fault BUT If Nazim Richardson had not pulled that BS saying the wrap felt hard & demanding it be removed then claiming PLASTER BLOCKS fell out, no one would have been any wiser. That pad in the pic is still soft. Richardson was known for that not being present during wrapping then complaining they must be removed. He did same thing to Trinidad. Sadly this time it tarnished a good fighter & innocent mans career & good name
Did Richardson give the commission his 323 consent or denial before Margarito had his hands wrapped...???
Tito didn't have illegal pads. It was the style of wrapping he used which was tape on the skin, which is illegal in New York, and proceeded to stack the wrap making it more compact and definitely harder simulating a cast. Its called "Stacking" im sure you heard of it! Those pads Margarito used were used and obviously were worn in the cotto fight which is so obvious by the red marking in the same exact spot. Who knows how long they've been using that knuckle pad. It could of dated all the way back to the first cintron fight. Personally I think he used that pad in the Lujan fight as well.
Then why did Capetillo start wrapping Margarito's hands without knowing if the 323 was consented or denied...???
I guess he knew Ive got no idea. Richardson used that tactic often cannot forgive him for what he did to Tony though tome's a worthless POS
I'm insane? Im not the one making up bull**** stories about myself, Mr crabby pants... you don't even look like you were in the boxing game.. you're just a fanboy, nothing more, nothing less.
Actually it was Bouie Fisher that first noticed the wraps of Trinidad were "stacked"...!!! Fisher asked for Richardson to come verify, and Richardson explained the proper regulations (of NYSAC) about gauze and tape wrapping...!!!
