I've been a Mosley fan longer then I have been a Margarito fan. But lets all be honest, Shane doesn't have the punch output, ring savvy, or confidence to beat Margarito at this point in their careers. Shane fights timid, throw3s one punch at a time now and if anything, the Mayorga fight showed just how far he is away from his peak. Shane getting stopped is a possibility, whether from the ref or his corner.

 

ive said this and if it happens im going to dig up my original posts of me saying this....

for some odd reason i got this strange feeling mosley might take it..

so im going to ride it out with him

 

this fight might be closer after a second look. cotto is general is supposed to be the harder puncher between him and margo, but i think margo is not far behind. he is put in a category as a pressure fighter, but i think he has genuine ko power whenever he decides to want to put a guy away, but he seems most comfortable breaking a fighter down. for the most part, mosley likes to be the aggressor, even against bigger guys like forrest and winky, and likes to stand in front of his opponents, which might play into margo's favor. i still think shane is a harder puncher than cotto as he had cotto is trouble acouple of times and even tho cotto did beat him to the punch with his jab, he never had shane in trouble. shane's speed adv plus his power might with his precision which he calls powerboxing might be to his advantage, but i think margo might handle shane's power better than shane might receive margo's. i think margo might take this in a very close split decision with shane giving one of his best last performances. where it might get interesting is if shane manages to cut margo pretty bad and force margo to lay it all down on the line and go for the ko on shane

Too much for Shane to deal with. If Mayorga was giving him fits, he's in for a world of hurt.
