Margarito vs. Mosley - January 24th, Mandalay Bay [CONFIRMED]

margarito is just too big and strong for mosley. this will be a stoppage for margo.

So Berto's free to fight Mayorga.

 

1. Williams was hurt in the body. But he was not "holding on for dear life" like these dumbasses are trying to make it seem like. Margo won the round, plain and simple, but not as convincingly as Paul won 10 and 12.

2. You also have people who call him a bum. Yet he beat the fighter who those same people claim is at the top of the pile. You have people saying Margo only has to start quicker. Nah, he has to start quicker and keep his stamina. Cause Paul will keep his...

3. And yeah, I'm talking about Clottey and Williams. His fans, if they aren't afraid for him, should really want him to fight one of these guys. Nothing else makes sense in the division.

 

This fight is interesting and honestly Mosely is going to review the Cotto fight and see the mistakes that Cotto made when fighting Margarito. I believe Mosely is the better boxer but wondering how would he keep Margarito off him for 12 rounds? Mosley is fast,strong, and has good stamina. Honestly I think Mosely can win this fight but he has to go through hell to beat Margarito which is not easy.

 

Agree, prime Mosely would be too much for Margo. I don't think he could stop him but he would win a UD on skill.

 

Everyone should rewatch SSM against Mayorga. SSM is old and he will tire. He better be careful because even a chin like his can be dented with enough punches. KOing Mayorga, the cigar smoking punching bag, in the 12th isn't such a great accomplishment.

 

It's looking like Mayorga is going to fight Angulo next.

Berto will probably fight Collazo who is his mandatory which was one of the reasons why a fight against Mosley didn't get made.

 

Mayorga-Angulo and Berto-Collazo are both very cool fights!

 

this is great news. im glad margo accepted the deal and cant wait until their fight. margo had me a little worried their for a bit i must admit. lol

 

This fight has Hopkins/Pavlik written all over it. I can see the old man winning a decision with his boxing skills yet mixing it up towards the end of the fight.
