I think he can stop him, but im not sure if he will. Margarito definatly wins this fight in my eyes however. He was incredible against Cotto, while i thought Mosley was losing his fight against Mayorga going into the last round. Mosley really looked his 37 years, and im suprised not more has been said about him looking very faded. Margarito either wins a wide decision or Mosleys corner stops it, i cant see a spectacular one punch KO occuring.
Margarito isn't gonna stop Shane. Shane has a much, much better chin than Cotto. And although he may have appeared faded to some of you guys, he will be ready to go for this one. Margo 115-113.
Yes. Tho I personally think SSM will last the distance. The only scenario that would suprise me is a ko win for Mosely, anything else will not suprise me. My personal pick for this one is a points win for Margarito, I hope he retires Mosely who was behind on my scorecard before stopping the super talentless Mayorga with about 1 second to go & who`s time is up. Great career but bye bye are my comments to SSM.
Mosley is open for just about any punch you can throw because the fool keeps his hands low around his chest. That's the reason he's always been easier to hit than other elite fighters.
I think that Mosley will win a close but clear decision, punch punch clinch all night to keep Margarito out of tempo and rythm throughout the fight
Clottey has one of the best defenses in the Welterweight division, and was in survival mode for most of the fight. Mosley likes to go toe to toe, is in the twilight of his career, and always feels compelled to fight back every time somebody lands a shot on him. It's a different fight
They were saying the same think about Cotto, and how the later rounds would spell big trouble for Shane. Margarito should take this on points, somewhat close.
Are you guys nuts? Margarito will not stop Shane, a better question would be will Sugar be the first man to KO Margo. Just because Margarito was able to wear down Cotto means nothing, Shane is a professional and will come in trained perfectly. I'm taking Shane UD (118-110 type of scores), expect something like Hopkins-Pavlik, the hype will end and the old vet will prevail.
