Margarito vs Ortiz @ a catchweight of 151. Who wins and how?

So you are Telling me that Ortiz will fight Mayweather who is a Far Superior fighter to Margarito, but he wouldnt fight a washed up has been exposed cheater for tons of money if that fight were offered? I dont think that adds up buddy. and your or i Cant gauge ortiz's power vs cotto's because we have never been hit by either one of them ( thank god) they both obviously have above average power. But Cotto is a shell of the fighter he was pre- margarito and Ortiz or berto even Collazo give him hell right now. Get real. And How can even pretend to know Cotto would have lost if it were a fair fight?? Margaritos last fights?? , Distraction in the mosley fight didnt make him lose. He lost because he couldnt cheat like in the Cotto fight!!!! Roids didnt make Margarito easy to hit his lack of skill and no pop on his punches(No Plaster) to back Shane up like he did Cotto is what did him in, and the cotto fight looked exactly the same till Miguel started feeling those loaded gloves. Stop making excuses for Margarito he will never win a meaningful fight again because he cant cheat. Do you think cheating to win is ok or something??

Guarantee you that Ortiz will stay clear out of Margs path. He's facing Floyd b/c it's like hitting the lotto for ANY boxer in the game. It's an automatic career high payday when you are facing someone like Floyd or Manny. The "Risk vs Reward" factor goes right out the window when it's this kind of money on line.

With Marg...he's not getting a career high payday...and even if he was...the "RISK" factor outweighs the reward. And Ortiz is looking to have LONGEVITY in his career. He's still not at his overall PEAK as a fighter. He lacks the necessary expericence at the top level to help him reach his plateau.

There's NO question for me that Cotto cracks harder than ortiz. Not that Ortiz doesn't have pop. He does, but Overall...Miguel is a better fighter in every category.

I don't think Ortiz, berto and even less, Collazo can deal with Cotto. Cotto is a better fighter now than he was before the Marg fight. Cotto is a more intelligent and composed fighter after the brutal beating he took at the hands of Tony. The experince he gained in that loss has helped him even if it took some years off his boxing career.

Cotto beat Shane.....Shane was probably on roids if we are all to believe that everyone is guilty who has been caught. But just b/c fighter "A, beat fighter B...doesn't mean he'll necessarily beat fighter C". That logic dont work in boxing.

Who's making excuses for Marg? Who is saying it's ok to cheat? Like Shane...Marg was caught cheating and they both had to to pay the consequences...Marg more than Shane b/c Shane got off scott free other than taking a hit to his rep and legacy.

Marg may not win anther meaningful fight but he'd beat the **** out of Ortiz if Vic got bamboozled in to signing the fight.:yep

margarito has shown more tenacity and determination in his fight against pac than mosley. if margo landed those body shots he landed on ortiz, i don't know how ortiz would take it.

well margo should be unfocus on that night just like in the mosley fight if ortiz would do it. more likely, margo would maidana ortiz.

mosley fought him at the right time. being caught that night and you think margo was still focused on the actual fight? and ortiz is not mosley. what do you think would happen if margo landed those body shots he landed on pacquiao on ortiz? margarito would bring the pressure on ortiz more than maidana had ever did.

Ortiz is being way overrated because of his win over Berto. Berto is not Mayweather. Ortiz is a still a guy who had a great win vs. Berto, but is not a great fighter. He has many flaws which is why Floyd picked him to fight.
