Margarito vs Ortiz @ a catchweight of 151. Who wins and how?

How is there any correlation between liking floyd (which I don't) and thinking margo gets brutalised (which I do).

Do people realise how **** margo's career is above 147? He hasn't won a fight now in 3 years.

He looked terrible vs shane and pac and got treated like a punching bag in both fights without winning a round.

Ortiz is coming off a career best performance whereas marg is almost 3 years removed from a meaningful victory.

I have no idea why anyone would favour margo to win this one.

 

yes he was against mosley but against pacquiao i beg to disagree. yes he it was a one-sided fight and pac treated him as a puncing bag but not without a galant effort and fight. he kept coming all night and showed tons of heart. he even made pacquiao back-off with a couple of wicked body shots that destroyed cintron. it also made pac go to the hospital after the fight and had to be supported while he walks the morning after the fight.

it would be a much better bet that the margo that fought pac would stop the ortiz that won against berto. margo was still relentless and would bring the pressure more than maidana has given ortiz.

 

Marg has showed absolutely NO power since the Cotto fight, dude is irrelevant and shot

 

Margarito is all wrong for Ortiz, Ortiz has a better shot of beating Mayweather than coming forward and fighting Marg's fight

 

Marg has looked like **** since he was exposed as a cheater. I think without his little extra somehing ortiz decisions him. Just because he was a pac opponent dosent make him good.Margarito is a bum and always has been he never beat anybody except Cotto....and he cheated to do it.

 

AS of June 14th ,2011 Ortiz would stop Margo period. Margo is washed up and has nothing left. You people are thinking of the Margo of years ago sorry but he is not the same fighter. He has some of the worst defense i ever seen in a boxer and is slow as ****. Margo will get knocked the **** out by Ortiz if they fought today!!!!

 

A gallant effort? He looked like feliciano or shannon briggs. He landed a couple of body shots and people think he's still got somethin?

Pac made margo look like a complete fool that night and it was what everyone expected pac to protect do because he's a great fighter and margo hadn't won in two years.

No sir margo looked like **** and has done since he beat cotto. There is no way he'd be favoured over, nor expected to beat ortiz.

 

He got a Knock down in his first fight at 154, and almost KO'ed the P4P champ with a body shot.

 

ortiz outboxes and wins in a gutsy effort. Margo washed up.

 

Please explain to me if he couldn't handle Maidana who a washed up Morales just schooled badly, how does he handle Margarito.

 

Victor Ortiz doesn't have Floyd Mayweather hand speed neither, neither he was a jab to keep distance, nor is he content with trying to box, Ortiz would fight Margs fight and get his heart stole like Cotto.

 

Cotto probably wins that fight if margaritos loaded gloves didnt steal his heart is what you mean to say ...right? If not then you accept that its ok and applaud a man for cheating to win and thats pathetic. Margarito is a slime ball cheater and all his wins should be questioned. Imagine if that body shot he landed and hurt pac with was with plaster loaded gloves.....

 

Well ortiz actually hurt maidana multiple times in their fight. As far as Morales (an ATG) he simply outsmarted Maidana. Maidana pound for pound IMO punches much harder than Margo. Mrg is an accumulative puncher, that said I think he's passed it. The young lion wins in a gutsy performance by decision. At least thats how i see it.

 

I honestly think some people wont be convinced that Margo is shot until someone does some permanent damage to him (and it looks like Pac may have done just that).

But until someone puts him in a casket, Margo fanboys will go on and on about how the Margo that just fought Pac would destroy Mayweather, Cotto, Martinez, Mosley, Froch, Ward, etc.

It's utterly ridiculous.

 

Margo ain't **** anymore post mosely... with a 2 year inactivity and so many bad camps due to his massive weight draining.... then getting a deserved beat down with pac...

Like A vulture pac came in to collect the crumbs and get the credit....


Ortiz UD's this version of margo but gets mauled by the Prime Margo at 147 pre mosely and hand wrap scandal....
