The whole hand wrap scandal was all just for show! It made for great tv drama! The fact that the "revoked licenced" of Tony was all just a ploy to set up anther fight with PAC down the line b/c they new Tony was gonna get KO'd by Shane...and then they made Shane lose to Floyd. So by next year Floyd and PAC will fight and they'll go ahead and fix that one too.:rofl

:good I was amazed that Lopez took so long to get Raf Marquez out of there knowing he was suppose to take a dive sooner. But I'm glad Marquez had his "alibi" for "losing" the fight with saying Lopez was a dirty fighter:patsch Some of these boxers just OVER KILL their acting jobs man.:rofl

I dont think Cotto hit Margo with his best punches, as he fought most the fight with his weight on his heels.

Cintron let Margo inside, infact invited him inside, thinking he could negate him be emulating Mayweather's shoulder roll, only he got punished trying to do that, but whilst trying to do that, he was a stationary target, which is what Margo needs to get off consistently.

This might be an issue, I eluded to this the other day, how Margo was able to catch the considerably long than Pac, Paul Williams on the tail end of his shots.

I dont agree with that, stylistically this is no Haye- Harrison. Margo has no jab, he also needs a stationary target to get off consistently, is considerably slower of foot and hand, and has no defense. Pac on the other hand, is like the energizer bunny, he can move and punch all night instead of languishing around presenting a stationary target, he is also a lot quicker, and has proven to be a sharp shooter against the aggressive guys that try to walk in without setting up their attack.

I never believed in fixed. The sport of boxing is such a great sport, but if I start to think fights are fixed it would not be fun for me anymore. I can tell when a guy is fighting back and trying to land big punches. These fights are not fixed. I think both guys want to win and will try to win. No way a fix.

I disagree with you. Boxing is not a "regular" sport like baseball, football, or basketball. Some decisions from judges are outrageous that only beg the question of a rigged fight. Popular boxers today are prize fighters who only fight for money, especially if they have a huge following. Not all fights are fixed, but I truly believe high profile fights like this one coming up has to be very questionable. Come on, they are fighting for a belt, contract weight limit, and Margarito is even allowed to fight after trying to literally murder someone in the ring? Reminds me of DLH's fight towards the end of his careers.

??? For Marg or PAC?:huh Most of the time punch output drops facing Manny and Margs punch output in the Shane fight wasn't anything close to 90 punches a round. PAC typically throws between 60 and 80 punches per round aside from the Josh fight where he was constantly beating up on the human punching bag. This fight is NOT fixed. And punch volume won't indicate a fixed fight.

no. this fight is hard to predict. Pacman is going to fight a similar fight to how he fought Delahoya. He is not going to war with Margarito like he did with Cotto. I don't believe much in fixed fights. When you start believing that then boxing becomes like wrestling and the guys like Hulk Hogan. I put more faith in boxing then that.

judging a fight is very subjective and that is where bad decisions come from. On the judging standpoint I cannot say whether judges were influenced or paid off, the fixing I am talking about is someone saying Margarito is going to purposely lose. No way. As far as judging, I don't know if Arum knows a judge and is going to influence that judge with money, but I doubt it. But who really knows. I just do not think so. I have to believe the judging is fair and everything else is, that is how I get enjoyment out of boxing. As for fighters, there is no way you can prevent a fighter to lose if he is not as good as we thought and fighting good competition. If someone beats Manny for example, Arum will just make the guy who beats him the big fighter. You think Arum really cares for Manny or any fighter? No he sees dollar signs.

So ignorant ... So what do you have to say about margarito vs Williams ? When Margarito only had 40 punches per round in the first half ? Must have been fixed as well?
